INTRODUCTION

Presently, John Joly is a CMC Advisor. Prior to this role, John worked for 26 years in Pharma Technical Development at Genentech. He led Early Stage Cell Culture including cell line development for 10 years and led Analytical Development & Clinical QC for four years. He was also the CMC sub team leader for Lucentis during late-stage clinical development up to the BLA filing. During his tenure leading early-stage Cell Culture, his team moved dozens of large molecule research candidates into clinical development. During his time leading Analytical Development & Clinical QC, his team filed three BLAs for new molecular entities.
